The truth about free credit repair services

I found this website about credit repair (CreditCPR.com) and after reading a little bit, this dawned on me... Free credit repair offered by non profit organizations is NOT in my best interest. Here is why:

Just because an organization says that they are not for profit, does not mean that they are trying to do good things or even help. They even may be assisting other for-profit organizations. It goes even further... if you have a non-profit organization, their employees are getting paid so the money must come from somewhere.

Ever wondered where do the credit repair companies get their operating capital (for the phones, employees, computers etc?). Apparently all those free credit improvement and repair agencies offering free services are getting "sponsored" by major banks.

By major banks! Let's think about it for a second - if there is a choice between helping me and inconveniencing bank (such as by telling me the truth that paying old debt actually is a BAD thing to do for your credit history) or between ommitting information and helping their "sponsor" banks, i'm sure i would not hear them say "stop paying now!". The credit repair for free just does not work for people but for the banks that pay for it. It's that simple. Don't believe me - spend some time on CreditCPR.com and educate yourself. It will open your eyes.
