Real diamonds from Africa and Canada, lab grown diamonds and moissanite

Lab grown diamonds are now indistinguishable from real thing. You no longer need to look for CZ (cubic zirconia) on the low spectrum and Moissanite at the high end to get a fake diamond look.

You can purchase huge moissanite on ebay for about 50 dollars or you can get one of those diamond simulants (such as the one from nexus lab) for a lot more reasonable price than, for example, a canadian diamond. Whether natural or grown diamonds, they always look great when set in pure platinum (althouh some people are known to prefer gold).
