Togo, officially the Togolese Republic, is a narrow country in West Africa bordering Ghana to the west, Benin to the east and Burkina Faso to the north. The official language is French, however many other languages are spoke in this republic (Ewe and Mina - the two major African languages in the south of the republic and Kabiye/Kabye and Dagomba in the north). The religions present in Togo are mainly indigenous beliefs with approx 50% representation followed by Christianity with 29% and Muslims at 20%.
